Hello, I’m Maxine Mitchell— the founder, baker and creative visionary behind Xaxy Bakes, located in Valley Stream, Long Island.

In March 2015, I took my love for baking to the next level by decorating a birthday cake for my daughter’s first birthday. The inspiring reviews—“It’s so yummy!”, “It’s beautiful!”, “May I have another piece?” and the joy from that event, ignited a desire within me to pursue my creative talents and bake more, create more and live my culinary passion to the fullest.

Since then, it's been a non-stop sweet adventure of collaborating closely with each client, visualizing, baking and designing delicious cake art.

Life is filled with many ups and downs and through it all, I seek out those special moments to celebrate and honor. I look forward to baking for you!
